blue ticket
BLUE TICKET
A blue discharge (also known as a "blue ticket") was a form of administrative military discharge formerly issued by the United States beginning in 1916. It was neither honorable nor dishonorable. The blue ticket became the discharge of choice for commanders seeking to remove homosexual service members from the ranks.

story
It was the end of 10th grade and I was hanging out with my best friends Mason, Terrence, and Terrell. They came over and picked me up to hang out with them. I hopped in the car and started driving. It wasn’t long before we saw a blue truck which we realized Terrence’s girl grace Bateman was driving with a few of her friends. I remembered we still had my paintball guns in the car from our last shenanigans. We began following them and when we got close enough I rolled down my window put my paintball gun out the window and started pelting that blue truck. They freaked out and we chased them around for a little more then called it quits and drove back to masons where we did the usual and went down stairs to play some COD. A few hours went by when mason suddenly got a text from his girl Lexi who said go outside and look at your car. We all ran outside to see the beautiful white Sequoia covered in what looked to be like melted crayons or something like that. The car was covered along with his driveway and some on his house. I looked at Mason and I knew it was going to be bad. He was as mad as I’ve ever seen him. I was mad to because I knew it was going to suck to clean up but mason took it personal. We all hopped in the car and drove down the street to Radley’s where we went inside and picked up 12 dozen eggs and 2 gallons of whole milk. You should have seen the looks we got. Some moms looked at us with complete disgust and some were just flat out laughing. What was pretty funny to us was our checkout lady didn’t even blink twice. She in fact asked us if we wanted this weird discount thing on them so the eggs ended up only costing like 23 bucks. We got in the car blasting rap. The whole time I thought it was kind of a funny prank like we got them then they got us but now we were definitely going overboard and I knew that. Playing rap loudly I could still see mason mumbling to himself. The kid was pissed. The levies weren’t happy either. So it’s like the middle of the day and we pull up in graces neighborhood and her neighbors are outside like 2 relief society moms and there little kids running around. So I’m like mason we can’t do this now people are everywhere but were already parked in front of her house and her blue truck 20 feet away. I tried to talk him out of it but he didn’t care. He grabs 2 cartons of eggs and hops out of the car. He throws both open cartons at the truck; the levy’s hop out and begin to throw them too. The neighbor ladies started to freak out yelling what are you doing and mason yells back in his loud deep voice he was like do you see my car?! And they had no idea what to say or what was going on. While there outside of the car throwing dozens of eggs I was in the car with the windows down dying of laughter and pelting the truck and garage with the paintball gun. They got the milk and hopped in the bed of their truck and poured it all over the place. The girls must have heard us throwing full cartons of eggs at the garage so suddenly they come running out with just looks of shock and astonishment. Her truck and driveway and garage we covered in over 100 eggs. They started screaming STOOOPPP and then I yelled back if you move I’ll shoot you and had my gun pointed at them so the boys could finish using every last one of those 144 eggs. The girls were nearly in tears and we showed no remorse. I’ve never seen mason so mad. We through the rest of the cartons hopped in the car and sped off. Graces mom is an awesome lady and her neighbors were confused and angry that these big kids and half of them being brown showed up in their precious neighborhood and vandalized everything. They wanted her to call the cops but she covered for us even though we just destroyed her house. We made Terrence graces boyfriend go clean most of it up haha. Then we all formally apologized to graces mom. Anyways we are all best friends and that was a great day

Enjoy the good and the bad
You win some and you
lose some...but the joy of winning would not be as sweet without knowing the
pain of what it feels like to lose. If everything in was we wouldn’t be able to
appreciate the good times. For example I’ve had an ingrown toenail before (I know
nasty huh) and every time you run on an ingrown toenail it’s like a knife
poking your toe. When I finally went to the doctors and had it removed it was
like the best feeling ever to be able to run without pain and I was so glad to
be able to run pain free. What I’m trying to say is without the bad times you wouldn’t
appreciate the good. Hard times make you grateful for all the good times.

Fear of the unknown.
"Fear keeps us focused on the past or worried about
the future. If we can acknowledge our fear, we can realize that right now we
are okay. Right now, today, we are still alive, and our bodies are working
marvelously. Our eyes can still see the beautiful sky. Our ears can still hear
the voices of our loved ones."
Thich Nhat Hanh
This quote is so great. It makes me so happy so I thought I
should share it.

#different...because this is a very long post
#different..Being different is a good. I have many friends who are considered different by society. These so called "different" kids are the most amazing kind of people I have ever met and if people could have half the love they have in their hearts our world would be a much much better place. I’m talking about the kids in my peer tutor class.
Well hands down
Peer tutor is my favorite class and I look forward to my third period class
every B day. Walking into that room always brightens my day because of all the
friendly smiles and greetings I receive. Peer tutor has taught me so much about
myself and about life. This class is such an amazing learning experience and I
have learned so much. I have loved working with all the students and consider
all of them my dear friends. I can honestly say I
love them with all my heart. So last year was my first time doing peer tutor
and I was a bit nervous. I came
into class not knowing what to expect, from what I thought of people with
disabilities I thought I should be nervous because they “are different than
everyone else”. I think many people in our school and society are uneducated
about people with special needs and a little standoffish at times. I wish more
people would get the chance to do peer tutor or to work with kids with special
needs, so they could experience the joy and happiness that comes with it. I
think these students are some of the most Christ like people on the planet;
they’re just full of love. They are so pure - if that makes sense. They don’t judge or hate, and they are the most forgiving
people I’ve ever met. Dayton is one of my really good friends in this class and
he has taught me so much. My very first day of peer tutor I was assigned to
work with Dayton; he is a little more dependent on others and learns a little
slower, but I began to realize that honestly didn’t matter one bit. He was a
little shy at first, but then after talking with him for a bit I realized that
Dayton is one of the kindest and sweetest people I have ever met. All he does is smile and say hi to everyone she comes into
contact with. Dayton taught me how to have patience and to always forgive.
Dayton is always apologizing, he never does anything wrong, but if he thinks he
did he immediately says sorry in his perfect, quiet little voice. I learned a
lot about myself because of him. He
taught me a lot, and I hope I can be more like him. I might tutor these
students in school, but they definitely tutor me for life. Another student that
sticks out to me is Mason. Mason is my best bud. He
always yells my name when I walk in the room. Mason is so kind to everyone and
has a very funny and kind personality. I love Mason and I’m pretty sure he
loves me too, but that’s not really impressive because he literally loves
everyone. I remember one time Mason thought he hurt my feelings and he felt so
bad. He did a sad face and patted me on the back. Then he said that he was sorry and I wanted to cry because
this kid has such a sweet heart and wants everyone to be happy. I love all of
the diversity we have in the class with all the personalities and disabilities.
Everyone in there is so special to me. I have become very close with many of
the students I have worked with and with every student I learn something new
about myself or life. I learned patience, kindness, love, and unselfishness. So
in closing I would just like to say that I recommend anyone and everyone to
take this class and I guarantee you will love it.
